Mastering Telephone and Text Communication Text Communication Introduction

Communicating by text messages can be a very convenient option for both you and your clients. It’s an increasingly popular means of communicating, particularly among younger clients. It’s a  great way to communicate brief bits of information, such as reminding a client about an appointment or reporting on how an animal is doing after surgery. You can often reach a client via text who is hard to reach by phone, and you can greatly increase the efficiency of client communication by using this median whenever it makes sense to.

  • Physicians and dentists have embraced texting as a strategy to improve patient care[1]
  • An increasing number of veterinary practices are doing the same[2]
