Now it’s time to test your skills with a VDT simulation. Try and use the information you just went through to help the client. You can play the simulation as many times as you wish until you are comfortable with the dialogue necessary to achieve a successful result.
The Situation
You’ve just begun your office hours. Your next client is Mrs. Visser. She comes with Elmo who has diarrhea. Elmo is a 3-year-old Bernese Mountain Dog, a castrated male, who has had relatively few problems in recent years. You have already called Mrs. Visser and Elmo from the waiting room and the scenario starts in your consultation room.
