Orchestrating an Effective Consultation Communication Phases of a Consultation Preparation

Afterall, as the saying goes, failing to prepare is preparing to fail! Make sure you are as prepared as you can be for the consultation. Have you read the patient’s notes? Is your table clean? Are you looking presentable? If they are coming in with sore ears, do you have your otoscope to hand? Any suspicious smells or stains?! Now is the time to sort it out.
