Hello,

The Doubter

Managing Challenging Communications Tricky Clinical Encounters The Doubter
The Doubter

The doubter. This client doubts everything! Is it the right choice..? Should we do that now? Isn’t it too expensive..? Doubt can be based on all sorts of things.

It could be that they still have questions they need answers for before they can make a decision.
Perhaps they need some more time to think things through.

While the final decision is always that of the client, remember that decision making should be collaborative and shared between veterinarian and client. In fact, shared decision making has been linked to better client understanding, trust, satisfaction and patient outcomes .
